Furthermore, one of the Algarve’s biggest hidden secrets are the Islands off the main coast, only accessible by boat or ferry, which forms part of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Quinta do Lago Beach

Situated only a few steps away from the picturesque Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and Quinta do Lago Watersport's Lake.

Ancão Beach

Set between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, featuring one of the best fish restaurants in the area - 2 Passos.

Vale do Lobo Beach

This long stretch of beach is within walking distance from the Vale do Lobo Praça and provides many Watersport's activities offering a fun-filled day.

Dunas Douradas Beach

Known to be the private beach to the Dunas Douradas Beach Club 5 Star Resort and to the entertaining Maria's restaurant known for its Sunday Fundays with live music.

Garrão Beach

Surrounded by 5 iconic beach bar/restaurants such as Izzy's & Julia's with a fantastic family atmosphere.

Falésia Beach

Situated in Vilamoura, close to the Marina, this long stretch of beach is known for the NoSolo Água Sunset Parties.

Algarve Islands

Deserta Island

"Ilha da Deserta" has a coastline of around 10Km and is the least habited island. The only structure on the island is the renowned Estaminé Restaurant - a definite must try!

Armona Island

"Ilha da Armona" really is paradise with its clear waters and where sea horses and rare small fishes can be found!

Culatra Island

"Ilha da Culatra" is another island perfect for a getaway weekend which features beautiful walkways and beach bars embracing the true Algarve culture.

Tavira Island

"Ilha de Tavira" situated close to Tavira town is 11Km long and includes 3 beautiful beaches.
