The beach and golf resort of Vale do Lobo has a variety of evening entertainment choices. Mix and mingle on the terraces of Breeze, and grab a flute of bubbly at their dedicated champagne bar. Monty’s International Bar is packed most nights with resort guests as well as locals. Both Breeze and Monty’s are located on Vale do Lobo’s Praça, a beachside entertainment center. For those aged between 16 and mid 20s, Gecko’s Club is a cool night spot that guarantees dancing the whole night long!
In the north of the resort is Paixa, a contemporary restaurant featuring Portuguese petiscos (tapas). The large bar in the center of this space is typically crowded with trendsters sipping cocktails at all times of the evening.
Parilla Natural is the area’s newest restaurant and bar. It is located outside the resort, on the road to Almancil. Head straight out to the multi-level terrace. Ideal for after-work or after-dinner drinks.
The Vilamoura marina is one of the most popular daytime attractions in the central Algarve. Shops and al fresco restaurants take advantage of the spectacular view of glamorous yachts and the ocean beyond. But at night, the marina comes alive; its large promenade packed with revelers. There is no shortage of watering-holes here. Some of the more popular spots include, O’Neills Irish Bar, Sete Café, Irish Cabin and Flute Champagne Bar.
Just outside the marina are several fun beachside clubs for lounging and dancing. At the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Hotel, Puro Beach is a lavish and cool outside lounge-nightclub. Also located at the Tivoli Hotel, in the congress centre, is the club SEVEN promoting memorable Algarvian nights with renowned international DJ’s such as Steve Aoki and David Guetta.
Another nightclub which On the beach, just to the west of the marina is Thai Beach. One of the most popular venues is Soul by Moments, also west of the mouth of the marina. Inside or outside, the groove is always jamming. During the summer, No Solo Agua Beach has sunset parties every night. In the outskirts of Vilamoura, Lick is the hugely popular open air nightclub that returns every summer with special guests around the world.
Not far from the marina is the Casino de Vilamoura. Gaming tables are ready for those feeling lucky. A lobby lounge is good for people watching. And the Blackjack disco carries the party long into the night.
