Interview with Melissa Jane:
Q1: What was the inspiration behind this project?
Melissa Jane: "The inspiration was fantastic clients who we showed a house that we did a couple of years ago, that they absolutely loved but they wanted to be in Quinta, this one wasn't in Quinta, and they wanted exactly the same concept with the two pergolas at each end. So we basically copied the house we had done but stretched all of the measurements and got it within the allowances here and that was it, from there on we went."
Fred: "Well I can say that taking into consideration how the house was before, you did really a magnificent job here."
Melissa Jane: "Thank you, the house was very different."
Q2: What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome?
Melissa Jane: "There were a lot of bigger obstacles, but i suppose the main criteria was that the clients wanted to keep a traditional look. So if you look at the front of the house and the entrance, it's very tradtional, the outside is all traditional but the inside is super contemporary. That was what we were trying to achieve, that the whole thing would be that once you're inside, big windows contemporary, but from the front it looked like a beautiful but traditional villa."
Fred: "Yes it's a seamless connection of the modern with the traditional very well done."
