A couple of years ago we filmed a vlog, outlining a little about economic cycles and how the market in the Quinta do Lago/Vale do Lobo area perform historically. I mentioned that each time the drive is even stronger and that then, September 2015 was no exception. Just over 18 months later, the speed at which the market has changed is just astounding.
Regardless of Brexit, Trump, a defeated Le pen and more, it just seems that the world is looking at Europe´s most western point, right now and the good news is going viral, not only about the great food, golf and beach climate, but even the economic scenario is something to boast strongly about according to the article in the FT on the Portuguese Economy 6 years after the EU bailout.
American tourism is higher than before and if the French haven’t already established their presence, they seem to have passed on the good word to the Italians! The British seem more focused this year and many have a more serious approach as they feel they need to commit before being outpriced by the market´s demand.
The Belgiums have always enjoyed and celebrated the simple Algarvean lifestyle and the Irish seem to have regained their interest. Although still predominantly British the central Algarve is coming more cosmopolitan than ever. We are looking for property to fulfil this demand.
